Big Share is Chesley Walsh & Luke Fowlie, a Tiohtià:ke/Montreal based duo whose emotive lyrics and unique vocal harmonies, combined with hypnotic interlocking guitars, create dynamic and introspective folk pop songs. Their current stripped-down approach evolved out of their previous project, Bent by Elephants, a collaboration with musicians such as Charlotte Cornfield, Alexander P. Whyte, and members of Kite Trio, where they released three albums between 2009 and 2015.

Printed Pictures will be released on all platforms on September 26, 2024, and was produced with Michael Feuerstack, featuring wonderful musicians Laurie Torres, Tim Crabtree, Kelly Pratt and Jamie Woollard. This record was written and recorded during Chesley’s experience of a high risk pregnancy and is an exploration of holding both hope and grief.

Their debut album was produced by Michael Feuerstack and made with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts, balancing folk and vintage pop sensibilities to create their self-described genre of cabin pop.
